I have been a diabetic for over 40 years now, and well, I've seen much concerning this disease, and on more than one occasion I've been frustrated by it.

Hopefully, I can guide you through some of the challenges of having sugar diabetes. Whether newly diagnosed, or an old veteran like myself, I will strive to give you interesting and informative information to help you through this.

One of the hardest things I had to do is get my head around the effects of this disease. Diabetes can affect more than one system in your body. In fact, if not kept in control, complications of this disease can affect many of your vital systems, causing them to fail and ultimately leading to a premature death.

As this is an ever growing site, I plan on adding information, articles or my own musings several times a week. If you don't find it here now, please let me know what you would like to see and I'll do my best to add it. I will be adding the contact section shortly.
